Bube's Brewery
102 N Market St, Mt Joy, East Prospect,
I agree, My husband and I were just there last night for our 1st Wedding Anniversary; it was a surprise for my Husband. We loved it! Then history behind the brewery and the fact that you can eat in the Catacombs makes for a really cool experience. The food was very good, average price for a plate is around $25. Our waitress was very good, kind and courteous. Would definaly recommend! We will make the trip from Mechanicsburg to there again!

I have gone to the Catacombs at Bube's Brewery since I was a child. We just had our son's 21st birthday dinner there. They still have those greeaat mashed potatoes with garlic and cheese! They have the absolute best steaks around and we enjoyed the little tour and our service very much. We love that place. Very interesting and has stayed that way for years. Yes, you will pay. But it is such a great "special events" place to go, we feel it is well worth it!

Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant

Its ok. I went there a bunch when it first opened and the service was awful. I chalked that up to it being a new place but I was there a few nights ago and I would only upgrade the service to "tolerable." I enjoy a night out, but dinner shouldnt take me 3 hours. The menu isnt as expansive as it looks. And I think its way overpriced. The ribs were dry, the fish terribly overseasoned and the meatloaf had some overpowering sauce/gravy on it that ruined the otherwise tasty meatloaf. They must have changed the pork barbecue sandwich because it was amazing when they opened and i've gotten it twice since and its not even average. Their sweet potato fries, however, are amazing. Its enough reason to go, if you've never tried it. So, I'm sure I'll go again, but I'm not going to rush to get there.
